Thank you for your interest in contributing to the Debian sysadmin team!

As you are not a Debian member, it will be harder for you to contribute to sysadmin tasks since you won't be able to login to Debian machines yet.

As you do not have a history of contributing to Debian, we would encourage you to get involved in Debian, come to DebConf and become a member of Debian in order to join the Debian sysadmin team.

As you are a Debian member with a history of contributing to Debian you are a potential candidate for joining the team. FIXME: the criteria and process for joining the team is....

We have an upcoming sprint that you might want to attend, it is <dates> at <place> in <city>, <country>. <remark>

Here are some of the ways you can start getting involved with the Debian sysadmin team now:

Read through our pages on the main Debian wiki and correct anything that is outdated or needs fixing.

https://wiki.debian.org/Teams/DSA

Read through our documentation wiki to familiarise yourself with our procedures and submit patches for anything you find that is outdated or needs fixing.

https://dsa.debian.org/

Read through our git repositories and contribute fixes for the FIXME items or any other issues that you can spot.

https://anonscm.debian.org/cgit/mirror/

Take a look at the bugs in Debian that are affecting the team and help get those bugs fixed.
